Don Lemon In Trouble At CNN After Comments About Nikki Haley And Women
During a conversation about competency tests for presidential candidates over the age of 75, CNN anchor Don Lemon felt the need express his discomfort with the age related conversation. Lemon stated “This whole talk about age makes me uncomfortable. I think it’s the wrong road to go down. She says people, you know, politicians are suddenly not in their prime. Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime. Sorry. When a woman is considered in her prime in her 20s and 30s and maybe 40s.” Not sure why Don would make this comment (or even cite Google as his source) and the internet was just as confused as I was. Don Lemon eventually apologized via Twitter and subsequently took a few days leave from his hosting position.
Tiger Woods Apologizes For Handing A Tampon To Justin Thomas During the Genesis Invitational
Tiger Woods apologized during a press conference to anyone who was offended by his recent attempt at trash talk on the golf course. After outdriving opponent Justin Thomas, Woods makes an attempt at discreetly handing a tampon to his opponent. Great joke but poor execution. Media cameras caught the clunky hand to hand exchange and social media went into a frenzy of Tiger Woods backlash. The general consensus was that Woods was attempting to insult Thomas’ drive by subtly saying “you hit like a girl”.
A Train Derailment In Ohio Leaves Residents Worried About Toxic Aftereffect.
On February 3rd 2023 a train carrying toxic chemicals derailed, crashed and toppled over causing enormous amounts of the chemical vinyl chloride. Residents of the town East Palestine have complained of a remaining stench in the air, rashes and even eye irritation. This has many residents fearful of what the long term effects of this derailment will have on their lives. Over 43,000 sea animals have died since the derailment and water concerns still loom for showering and cooking.
