Shakira Releases New Song About Estranged Lover
Recording superstar Shakira dropped a new diss track about her ex-boyfriend/baby daddy Gerard Pique. Pique’s infidelity also came with a rumor that he was caught because his mistress had used Shakira’s jam. As a fan of a good jam I could understand why Shakira was mad. It must be jam, cause jelly dont shake like that. Them hips dont lie but unfortunately ex-lovers do.
FloRida Is Awarded $82 Million Dollars In His Lawsuit Against Celsius Energy
Rapper Flo Rida is awarded $82 million dollars in his lawsuit against Celsius Energy. Flo was a brand ambassador for Celsius for a course of 4-5 years but felt like he was not given his full pay. A jury of his peers agreed with him. It seems like Celsius tried to hide their earnings from FloRida and then claimed their gains came after the contract expired. This turned out to be false.
50 Cent Says “Depression Is A Luxury”
Rapper 50 Cent recently said “depression is a luxury” during an interview on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. The comments brought backlash from many mental health advocates insinuating that 50 was downplaying the effects of depression. 50 Cent had an interesting outlook on the subject stating that when bills need to be paid and dinner needs to be put on the table, one may not have the ability or resources to stop, reflect and take time off due to depression. Although its not the most politically corrrect statement Fif has put out, I do agree with him to a certain extent. I also believe he was not trying to downplay the effects of depression but rather point out that taking time to address it may have more to do with finances over mental health.
